The Riviera of Palms is a splendid natural scenery ranging from the sea, with the gentle beaches of San Benedetto del Tronto and Grottammare to the green and harmonious hills up to the chain of the Sibillian mountains.
The landscape, sweet and balanced, is characterized by Mediterranean vegetation: holm oaks, laurels, pines, Aleppo pines, oaks, plane trees, elms, mulberries grow along the roads connecting towns and cities with ancient origins.
At Acquaviva Picena, Monteprandone, Ripatranzone, Offida, time seems to stand still. Here the flow of seasons is still marked by the change of colours: in spring, wheat, cornflowers, tulips, poppies flood the countryside with bright colours, while on ancient walls sprout capers. In autumn, golden and black grapes of Rosso Piceno can be seen along the road, flourishing among the rows of vines.
Significant artistic paths are discovered in the museums, galleries and in many urban centres of great dignity of the Riviera of Palms, but also inside the numerous churches, where precious architectural hand-made articles give the measure of wealth submerged in this territory.
